I am a writer, researcher, and editor living in New York City, as well as a wife, mama to two, and co-founder of Brooklyn-based OddFellows Ice Cream Company.
My editorial interests lie in understanding cultural shifts around the world and connecting people and ideas. I love learning from local trendsetters and innovative organizations and sharing stories of social change. My writing and research have appeared in print, broadcast, and online media. I've worked as a reporter in Taiwan, a research analyst in Kosovo, and an international flight attendant based in Chicago. My first job out of college was writing obituaries.
I am a graduate of Northwestern University (BS in Journalism), the University of Chicago (MA in Social Science) and the New School in New York City (MS in International Affairs).
